Big Data Engineer - Cloud - Tier 1 Investment Bank - £565 per day (inside IR35)

Big Data Engineer required by our Tier 1 Investment Bank as they centralise a data platform internally. Candidates require Big Data experience and preferably have had GCP exposure (AWS and Azure also accepted.)

Data Engineer with strong experience in big data, cloud (ideally GCP but open to AWS and Azure), data migrations, data solutions, data mapping and modelling, hybrid and cloud solutions, data pipelines and experience with programming languages such as (Python, Java, Scala, etc..).

You will need to have:

  • Experience designing, developing and implementing Big Data Solutions
  • Experience with Agile tools and processes
  • Experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Git, etc)
  • Strong experience in data mapping/modelling and understanding of data requirements
