Senior Software Developer
£Negotiable (Outside IR35)
Northampton and Remote
12 Month Contract
My client, in the Motorsport industry, are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Developer with excellent knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, C++, C#, ATLAS.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions within the time constraints required that meet the needs of Manufacturing business stakeholder.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve software and database issues.
- Collaboratively improve our systems and procedures to reduce complexity and improve reliability.
- Proactively help support and improve operational effectiveness and to assist were required.
Skills/Experience
- Designing, developing and testing software solutions
- Problem solving
- Written and verbal communication
- Self-starting, attention to detail and task completion
- Object-oriented software development and testing in an agile context
- Modern track-side software development techniques and practices, eg MATLAB, Simulink, C++, C#, ATLAS
- Relational Databases, eg MS SQL Server
- Engineering solutions, their deployment and use
- Deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions within the time constraints required that meet the needs of business stakeholders
- Collaborate to help the team and department meet their objectives
- Promote quality, improvement and innovation with the team and department
Demonstrate knowledge of
- Software development practices, technologies, systems and services, eg MS DevOps
- Manufacturing processes and technologies for Motorsport and hyper cars
