Senior Devops Engineer
Remote - occasional site visits (London)

£550 - £650 per day
The successful incumbent will be an SME across many technical areas. You will work as a senior leader in a multidisciplinary department to ensure the support and maintenance of our software through tools, environments, and practices. You will act as deputy to our Principal DevOps Engineer to drive forward embedding a DevOps culture and will strive to work collaboratively with development teams to increase transparency, communications and knowledge.
Responsibilities
Driving forward the quality and delivery of all products and services built by Software Engineering.
Developing knowledge and awareness of the technical architecture of products and services built by the team is documented, shared and updated in accordance with the sprint cycle.
Ensuring automated pipelines are developed, maintained and supported to ensure delivery to all environments.
Ensuring the skills of engineers in our team are sufficient for the needs of the products and services being developed, including providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues.
Provide strong teambuilding and management skills with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a large diverse team ensuring resources are organised appropriately and effectively.
Technical Requirements
Our Senior DevOps Engineer position requires experience expected across:
Cloud technology: Azure
Scripting: PowerShell
Pipeline configuration: GitLab, TeamCity and Octopus Deploy
Windows Servers
SQL
