Outsource UK is currently looking for a Solution Designer to join a leading financial client for a 6 month contract.
This role will be based fully remotely.
Candidates are required to work through Umbrella or PAYE.
This exciting opportunity will be sitting within the Digital Solutions team and you will help deliver an engaging customer experience within the digital capabilities that enable their customers to engage with their finances.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOLUTION DESIGNER:
- Delivering high level designs in support of strategic and architectural direction taking into account best practice and long-term vision.
- Ensuring that designs meet business needs and are developed and governed through the appropriate agile or traditional model.
- Working closely with the Channels and Digital Architecture and Design team, the business and other IT colleagues to ensure that design options are documented and reviewed
- Working closely with third party delivery teams to ensure they have the necessary support and governance to deliver.
- Reviewing of designs produced by others.
- Ongoing support, direction and governance of project delivery against agreed designs and assessment of the impact of change requests on the high-level design.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SOLUTION DESIGNER:
- Proven design experience across a variety of technologies and platforms.
- A good understanding of software delivery methodologies (eg waterfall, agile etc.).
- Experience of working with third party delivery partners.
- A broad range of design experience
- Exposure to different design methodologies, eg Agile (Kanban, Scrum)
- Exposure to Mobile App development or Java applications or cloud services.
