Developer, Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Data Warehouse, ETL, OLTP, OLAP, Tableau, PowerBI
Harris Global are currently looking for 5 Snowflake Developers to join our client on an initial 9 month contract. The successful candidate will have strong experience working with Snowflake, AWS and SQL. This role will also be working on American Eastern Time so candidates must be ok with this.
Skills will include:
- Must have hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles
- Have experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and AWS S3 bucket for integrating data from multiple source system
- Understanding of Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake Developing scripts Unix, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
- Have experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Datamodelling.
- Have experience gathering and analysing system requirements
- Have good working knowledge of any ETL tool (Informatica or SSIS)
- Have familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Ability to effectively function in a cross team's environment
- Have experience building data ingestion pipeline
- Have experience in working with AWS (preferred), Azure and Google data services
- Have experience in client facing projects.
