Joiner/Painter
£16.30 per hour PAYE/£20.63 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Barrow
Initially 12-month contract
Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the defence sector and are currently seeking an experienced Joiner/Painter to work on site in Barrow.
Main responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, install, or repair wooden or composite items to standard including the use of fixed and portable woodworking machines.
Daily tasks
*You will always work safely, complying with Health and Safety, and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
*You will follow the relevant instructions, drawings, and any other specifications.
*Use the appropriate methods and techniques to complete operations.
*Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification.
*You will also use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications and Desirable Skills
*Your shipbuilding experience would be an advantage.
*As well as experience in the mixing and application of 2 pack adhesive systems.
*You will have the ability to work to fine tolerances form Technical drawings.
