Description
We are looking for a Data Development Consultant (m/f/d) for a client project in Luxembourg.
Tasks:
- Reengineering existing data tools, adjusting them to the new technology;
- Developing new data process to cover sectors not previously analysed by the division.
- Rebuilding internal databases containing publicly available financial information of banks (time series of Balance sheet and P&L items);
- Automating internal processes involving the extraction and manipulation of financial data;
- Structuring a database for analysing insurance companies data and related risk indicators;
- Structuring a database for analysing investment fund industry data and related risk indicators;
- Developing tableau dashboards to visualize financial data;
- Create relevant documents, reports or presentations as required.
Your profile:
- Master level degree, preferably in an economics, finance, mathematics, computer science or related disciplines;
- At least 6 years of experience in financial market data analysis, preferably with a focus on banking, insurance and investment fund data.
- Experience specifically with Fitch, SNL/S&P, Refinitiv Lipper, Bloomberg is an asset;
- At least 3 years of experience with R.
- Experience with MATLAB, Stata and/or VBA is an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript and SQL;
- At least 2 years of experience working with Tableau. Experience with other data visualisation tools is an asset;
- Fluency in English (CEFR C1 level or equivalent), including good drafting in that language.
