Developing a revolutionary new technique to store data in glass using femtosecond lasers and read it out using advanced optical imaging techniques.
This position is for a proficient research software engineer who will have the opportunity to help build an exciting new storage system by helping develop the software driving the system. We've built an early technology demonstrator - see our Project Silica webpage for details.
Come and join an incredibly talented multi-disciplinary team of Laser physicists, optical physicists, electronics engineers, and computer scientists working together in a tight-knit team to build this storage technology of the future. You would be responsible for working on the software for the optical imaging systems.
