A growing City based bank is looking for 2 x Application Support Analyst to join their centralised Application Support Team who looks after all Front, Middle and Back Office applications.

This role, in particular, is looking at Incident and Problem management across multiple different applications, from banking and reconciliations application support through to SWIFT payments and .NET application support. A mixture of 3rd party and in-house bespoke made applications to support, with many new applications and tools being deployed into their environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day BAU Application Support across 3rd party and in-house bespoke made applications
  • Provide support for multiple applications as required including SWIFT messaging, payments MUREX and associated Back Office and reconciliation products
  • Maintain software patches & levels in accordance with change management processes.

Key Skills

  • At least 5+ years Application Support experience within the finance sector or equivalent
  • Problem, Incident, Change management experience
  • Excellent communications skills and comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting SWIFT MQ, IBM MQ, Message Broker or similar would be a big bonus.
  • ITIL certified or experience within an ITIL aligned environment
