Description
Devops Engineer - Remote - SC Cleared - £600 - £700 per day
Looking for a Devops engineer with programming experiene in Python, Java or a similar programming language, complemented by good analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Managing complex environment
- Command line knowledge (linux - centos)
- Configuration as code (jenkinsfile or similar)
- Infrastructure as code (AWS Cloudformation/terraform)
- Containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration systems (docker Swarm)
- Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment pipelines (jenkins, gitlab, Sonarqube)
- Configuration management tooling (puppet, ansible, chef)
- Experience in software development life cycle (agile/lean methodologies)
- Awarness of security concerns and best practices particularly those that relate to MOD/Central Government
- Other experience that would be beneficial - Jira/confluence administration, NGINX, Postgres, AWS CLI, Gitlab and Nexus repository Manager
