Your Skills
- Technical - Proficient in programming in Angular 8, Java 8
- Domain - Experience in working within an Insurance business domain
- Personal - Excellent analytical skills and customer orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high quality awareness, good team player, result oriented, able to work independently and self-driven
- Experience in Maven and/or JIRA is a bonus
Your Tasks
- Knowledge Transition - Participate in knowledge transfer sessions from the existing team (functional knowledge, application architecture, code flow)
- Knowledge Management - Build and sustain a knowledge repository including system appreciation documentation for an application
- Minor enhancements & Production Support - Participate in the analysis of incoming JIRA tickets, track/work on fixing said tickets and verify the fixes, tracking of SLAs, perform root cause analysis of defects with following elimination of root causes, run process improvement initiatives to reduce defects
- Business Support - Provide needed support to the business users in resolving their day to day queries, Participate in scrum ceremonies
- Technical Design - Perform high and low level design, provide pseudo code, implement prototypes and perform design reviews
- Development/Build - Develop optimized high quality code deliverables including unit test plans, perform code deliverable reviews & unit test plan reviews, conduct independent testing and sign off code release for testing stage
- Testing - Lead the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system test plans and support user acceptance testing
