Python Engineer
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Python Engineer to join a growing financial services organization at the forefront of technology innovation on an initial 11 month contract in their state of the art offices in Glasgow. This institution is renowned worldwide and known in the market for their extremely high calibre of technical teams.
You will join than existing team which builds software which will improve their releases from every 6 weeks to every 2 by building automated test frameworks which ensures they are robust, reliable and resilient.
You will be working in a DevOps and Automation focused team, however prior experience in this environment is not required, we are looking for a strong Python Developer.
This position has been deemed as falling Inside IR35 regulations.
Experience Required:
- Strong Python Development experience
- Strong Unix/Linux Scripting or Perl Scripting
- Understanding of message-based architectures
- RDBMS Sybase or DB2
- Writing SQL queries
