Senior GCP Cloud Engineer - Remote - 6 months £ (inside IR35)
Our client is an exciting entrepreneurial technology consultancy who are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) implementation. The Senior GCP Cloud Engineer will be tasked with building out and strengthening engineering/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities for the Senior GCP Cloud Engineer:
- Interact daily with developers, architects and engineers along with other IT staff to oversee the quality of work and aid the project
- Build out engineering capability organisations
- Strengthen both DevOps engineering capability
- Assist in the development of secure and scalable automated solutions
- Provide hands-on technical engineering capability to support the implementation of brand-new Google Cloud Platform service
- Work towards implementing new and innovative patterns for technology
Requirements for the Senior GCP Cloud Engineer:
- Building technical solutions in the cloud Specifically for GCP
- Experience in Infrastructure for GCP and aligned opensource technology such as Kubernetes, specifically proficient in GKE or K8
- Strong Kubernetes Application Design & Development experience GKE or K8
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala and or other JVM languages
- Experience in delivering end to end large scale programmes
- Infrastructure engineering
- Development and Coding Java
- Data and Development and Automation
- Cloud native principles
