Detailed Job title: Data Engineer
Duration: 5-month initial contract
Location: Onsite 3 days per week, Portsmouth, remote
Salary: £450-£510 per day (pay rate, outside IR35)

Do you have Data Engineer experience and are looking for a new position?
Sentinel are working with a leading software and services company, looking for a Data Engineer to come on board and be responsible for developing, implementing and testing various aspects of a solution.
Responsibilities:
As the Data Engineer you'll be responsible for:
- Undertaking development tasks, ensuring high quality coding and assurance is met.
- Documenting and testing developed code.
- Report risks and issues to the Engineering Lead.
- Support the Capability Development team with development activities when required.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:
- Awareness of Data Migration
- Experience working within MOD and specifically Royal Navy.
- You can work with minimal-to-no supervision on large and complex projects.
- You ensure that appropriate MOD standards and industry best practices are identified and adhered to.
- Experience of Scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or similar.
- Security Clearance is required for this role.
