GIS Data Scientist - Fully RemoteMy client, a London based startup, are looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist to join the team who will specialize in designing, training and deploying ML solutions focused on customer behaviour modelling and marketing automation and optimization. The ideal candidate will have programming expertise and experience working in professional development teams, who will maintain and transform diverse sets of geospatial data.
Responsible for documenting, maintaining and contributing to internal spatial databases, as well as developing and maintaining PostGIS data pipelines and participate in data acquisition (eg APIs, web scraping) whilst working with development teams to ensure access across different projects.
Essentials:
- Proficiency in Python.
- GIS
- Knowledge of statistics and its application in data science
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desirables:
- 2+ years commercial experience in a role focused on statistical modelling, econometrics, marketing attribution, marketing analytics, data science or relevant PhD
- Experience working with demographic, consumer and real estate data
