SDET - Leading Financial Services Company
An exciting opportunity exists for a Software Development Engineer in Test at a leading financial services company. Our client is currently working on a major transformation which involves transitioning to cloud platforms as part of a cloud adoption programme. Whilst this occurs, a number of SDET 's are required to assist with the development and testing of multiple platforms.
Location: London
Duration: 6 months rolling
Daily Rate: Markets rates
Key Requirements:
- MUST Have experience in C#, SQL, .NET Core
- MUST Have at least 5+ years' experience as a SDET
- A strong background in developing tests as part of the software delivery pipeline which give enough confidence to deliver software into production without manual testing
- A very good understanding of Test Driven Development, the strategies that result in fast running, flexible test suites, and how TDD impacts the design of software
- A very good understanding of Behaviour Driven Development approaches, tool choices, techniques for achieving high functional test coverage, and how to make all this meaningfully tie back to the real business requirements
- Experience with one or more coding language (.Net, C#) with some Development background will be an advantage
- A good understanding of Risk Based Testing, ensuring an effective test automation suite
- A very good understanding of Engineering practices and principles
- A very good understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- Hands-on Test Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain Test automation frameworks
- Must have a very good knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
