Site Reliability Engineer - REMOTE - Outside IR35 - 6 months
An opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking and ethical tech company that has a rare opportunity to work on software that helps the environment. This company's software is aiming to reduce carbon emissions to zero.
You'll be joining the Developer experience team whose task is to create the right environment for engineers to build high-performance, reliable, secure and scalable systems.
The role will entail working across AWS, in a team that builds tooling, infrastructure and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project based work that improves network resilience, security and efificiency.
- Working with the rest of the team to ensure best practices in deployment, service performance, availability and monitoring
Requirements
- Software Engineering background in any language
- Kafka experience is a plus
- Containers
- Cloud experience with AWS
- CI/CD experience
- IaC
- Scripting, automation, monitoring and logging
