Oracle R12 HRMS Technical Consultant
Technical consultant to convert employee records and provide short-term production support to a user of Oracle R12 HRMS applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and write technical specification documents to support the loading of employee records into Oracle HRMS
- Develop and unit test custom code
- Support Integration and User Acceptance testing
- Provide production support for Oracle R12 Human Resource, Payroll, and Benefits applications
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve reported application issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by client
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience developing custom report, interface, conversion, and enhancement programs for Oracle R12 Human Resource, Payroll, and/or Benefits applications
- Development and delivery of Employee conversion programs for a minimum of three Oracle R12 implementations
- Solid working knowledge of Human Resource, Payroll, and Benefits business processes and the ability to execute related business transactions in Oracle R12 applications
- Expert in Oracle Application Technologies: Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL Loaders, API's, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, OAF and XML Publisher.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport, and persuade others
- Self-Motivated/Team player with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team
