Backend Java developer

One of the fastest growing Telecommunication companies in Europe are looking for backend java developers to join their team.
  • 6 month contract with extensions
  • Fully remote
  • €40-€50 per hour depending on experience

They have a modern microservice architecture with code no older than two years, and the platform is hosted in AWS as well as on their own data centers, using cloud native technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

Working in Their Rich Messaging teams will give you the opportunity to be at the forefront of messaging technologies building solutions for the future of communication between modern businesses and consumers.

As our new Software Developer you will:
  • Be heavily involved in turning user stories into code. This is a hands-on code design and coding role!
  • Work with high availability and high throughput backend services
  • Work in an agile, cross functional team
  • Maintain and improve development methodologies and best practice
Who are you?

Passion for coding is the most important ingredient for success. An ideal candidate would be someone that on top of Java has a Spring Boot backend experience and worked with cloud native technologies. They are a bunch of enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy solving complex matters and we'd like you to join if you feel the same way. Teamwork and communication skills are essential.

In order to contribute to this role you have:
  • At least 5 years of Software Development experience
  • Experience in technologies like Java, Spring boot, GRPC, Redis, Kubernetes, AWS, GraphQL, REST API
  • A bachelor's degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • You have experience working in an international environment in English
