Contract role - Sitecore Developer - 6 months contract - London - Inside IR35
An international law firm based in London is looking for a Sitecore developer to support a website implementation project.
The Sitecore Developer will be tasked with the delivery of new and refreshed website features, templates and ensuring their Sitecore content management system aligns with the company's ambition of being the most progressive global law firm.
Key Responsibilities for the Sitecore Developer will include:
- Experneice working as a Sitecore Developer in a commercial capacity
- Receive recommendations and use them to improve end user experience - modification and creation of Sitecore templates, components and Front End development
- End to end ownership including of software development work-stream
- Upgrade Azure environment, ensuring continued stability and associated integrations.
- Supporting post implementation issues
- Documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal teams
- Contribute to software architecture and SDLC practices
- Work collaboratively with internal Development, Digital, Design and Test teams
- Testing software to ensure the code meets expectations
- Sitecore Certified Developer
- Sitecore 9 on the Azure platform
- Sitecore architecture design principles and best practices, including Helix architecture
- Sitecore 9.3 features including personalisation and content testing
- Experience in C# .NET and Microsoft web development technologies .NET MVC 5 and SQL Server programming
- Front End: HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, JavaScript and associated third party libraires
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD and use of supporting tools eg Azure DevOps, Unicorn, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
This role is 100% remote based with occassional travel to an office when required.
