Modis are currently looking for a Technical Lead
This is a 6 month initial contract inside of IR35.
Remote working with occasional meeting in Warwick
Key Accountabilities
- Ensures that the delivery team remains focused on quality based on good engineering practices whilst endeavouring to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Spreads good engineering practices within the delivery team and the wider organization
- Leads and supports one or more delivery teams.
- Works with project stakeholders to ensure they know what is expected of them in a quality IT engineering project delivery.
- Works within and educates others about the engineering practices used by the delivery teams, such as TDD, BDD, peer review, design patterns, frequent regular user feedback.
- Will lead and facilitate teams doing iterative development that have not yet fully adopted Agile practices as well as more genuinely Agile teams.
About You
- Experience in Agile development
- Experience in coaching teams in Agile practices would be helpful.
- Track record of leading software delivery.
- Knowledge of a range of engineering tools, practices and technologies.
- Experience of working with people outside of engineering or who are new to engineering approaches.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills covering colleagues, partners/vendors and project sponsors.
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC processes.
- Experience of forming teams and knowledge of team dynamics and how to optimize a team for high performance.
- Experience in Salesforce will be advantageous.
