Job Description:
Responsibilities:
·         Manages the strategy and activity of their leadership teams which include Engineering Managers and individual contributors (typically Expert/Master)
·         Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies.
·         Has accountability for a large multi-department area(s) or location(s) with significant impact on business unit results and organizational strategy.
·         Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization.
·         Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of staff.
·         Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.
·         Typically manages 10 or more direct reports.
·         Education and Experience Required:
·         First level university degree or equivalent experience required.
·         May have advanced university degree.
·         Ten or more years of related work experience, including 5+ years of people management experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
·         Proficiency in at least, one modern programming language such as C#, .NET, Node.js, Java etc.
·         Deep understanding and experience in Agile software engineering practices and full software development life cycle
·         Experience in AWS or other Cloud technologies preferred
·         Experience in setting up and continually improving CI/CD tools (Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins), processes and procedures preferred
·         Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution.
·         Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.
·         Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.
·         Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
·         Experience with JIRA.
·         Strong communication skills (e.g., written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language.
