We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a SC Cleared Pentaho Developer to join their team for a six-month contract.
Data Engineer (ETL/ELT) 2. Job Summary
Data Platform Services (DPS) provides enterprise-wide data platform engineering capabilities that enable the acquisition, administration (management) and application (exploitation and consumption) of enterprise data.
The client has a large and complex Data Analytics estate which has large number of data pipelines moving, messaging and transforming data between various data stores.
DPS is building a logical data warehouse using data virtualisation to expose the Legacy data warehouses and new data stores to wider data consumers. We are being asked to provide Data Acquisition management services.
This role is to be part of the initial team working in an Agile environment working with HMRC and other suppliers to enhance the reporting capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities :
* Identify and analyse user requirements
* Prioritise, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
* Develop new applications
* Write well-designed, efficient code
* Review, test and debug team member's code
