DevOps Operation Engineering Manager - 12 month contract

My client a global pharmaceutical company are looking for DevOps Operation Engineering Manager to join them on a 12 month contract. Please note this role will be paid via an umbrella company. You will guide the organisation through the implementation of a cross capability Dev Ops governance model as well as establishing a strong cross capability operating model and go-to market approach.

As a DevOps Operation Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the following;

  • Partner with vendors to establish the Dev Ops model in each and every capability with a standardised approach
  • Coordinate the communication strategy within the organisation at international, regional and local level
  • Build and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity, agility and quality.
  • Develop and continuously improve automation solutions to enable teams to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently.
  • Promote DevOps principles and culture across the software engineering organisation.
  • Mentor and coach in-Capability DevOps engineers.

The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

  • Relevant DevOps experience
  • Software design/development/engineering
  • Developing CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Configuration management, test-driven development and release management.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • agile development and strong understanding of DevOps principles
  • Salesforce/Veeva technology stack and/or Website technology and/or PowerBI/Analytics technology will be considered as a plus.
