My client are on the lookout for a GCP Data Engineer to join their expanding team on a 100% remote contract basis. The organisation is going through a very large digital transformation and this is a great opportunity to join a greenfield project and be part of an exciting period of change. Strong Big Query skills are required - please respond.
Essential experience for the Data Engineer
- Hands on in using data stores and processing technologies, both traditional
- (EDH - Spark, Hadoop) and Cloud (GCP Big Query, Kubernetes, Argo & DBT)
- Streaming technologies experience - Kafka, Kafka connect & Streams
- Datamodelling skills - for SOI & SOE and Ref Data
- Programming languages - Java, Python and SQL
