ITHR are working with an innovative AI start-up who are on a mission to create the leading data and insight platform for the E-commerce sector.
Our client's SaaS service integrates the most relevant data from the major sources of consumer information, as well as unique algorithms that can build big picture views from sparse transactions and other data.
Duties and responsibilities
- Working on our core platform to build the engine that powers our financial modelling and our geospatial analytics
- Building the extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) pipeline for our large data platform
- Quick prototyping of ideas in Agile spikes to create proof of concept code or demonstrate user value
- Help the team brainstorm ideas to solve pain points for the user and transforming the industry with advanced data integrations and analytics
- Opportunity to learn from our Data Scientists about predictive models, machine learning, spatial data processing, and natural language processing for data extraction.
- Investigating methods with the CTO to scale our core platform to incredibly large computations and datasets
What are we looking for?
- 2-3 years' experience developing software (preferably SaaS in Python)
- Familiarity/experience with coding quantitative, financial, or time-series modules.
- Development experience of version control eg, Git
- Knowledge of cloud environments eg, AWS
- Good understanding of producing robust systems and unit/integration/end-to-end tests
- Passionate about working in a start-up environment
