Javascript REACT HTML Developer - Front Office Risk Investment Bank
Highly experience JavaScript developer with deep understanding of running multiple and significant projects on Web applications (Javascript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS/LESS/Sass, RxJS, RequireJS, Grunt/Gulp, Bootstrap, NodeJS). JavaScript is the key skill. Some of the applications are written in AngularJS, but new applications will be written in React. React is highly desirable and knowledge of AngularJS also desirable.
- Deep understanding and experience of Object Oriented Programming, patterns and principles
- Deep understanding and experience of service-oriented architectures
- Experience of ASP.NET C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem
- Experience of MS SQL
- Highly motivated to work directly for a Front Office IT team
ROLE
As part of Global Markets Risk and P&L IT, the XVA IT team is responsible for the development of the XVA platform for the bank. The bank is recognised as having one of the best xVA platforms in Europe.
The XVA IT team covers the following main responsibilities:
- Calculation of XVA P&L, XVA Risks and XVA P&L Explain for XVA Trading Desk
- XVA Pricing Services for Sales and XVA Desk
- XVA Stress Tests
- Digital tools for XVA Users and Production Support teams
As a senior web developer, you will lead the development of the Front End platform.
The Front End platform contains multiple apps required by the Risk users (Production Monitoring, Audit, Investigation Tools, Data management, pre trade workflow, basic Risk viewers). Some apps are developed in AngularJS and the new ones in React. Excellent coding skills, design skills and software craftsmanship are required.
This is a long term role with a book of work lasting many years.
