You MUST have the following:
- Strong experience as a .NET Architect/Solutions Architect/Development Manager/Engineering Manager
- Advanced microservices and ASP.NET Web API
- Lead/Architect for projects taking months
- GCP, Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) commercially or in home projects
- Experience within a trading environment- exposure to equities, FX or bonds/Fixed Income products
- CI/CD technology
- Experience in man-management- mentoring team members, hold appraisals, performance management etc
- Agile
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- ASP.NET Core
- Knowledge of Fixed Income- such as government and corporate bonds (rates and credit), ABS, CDS, IRS etc
- Experience on the buy-side- hedge fund, asset management, investment management, wealth manager
- Experience with research platforms
Role: .NET Development Manager (Engineering Manager Developer Programmer Software Engineer Architect Team Lead Technical .NET ASP.NET Web API .NET Core C# AWS Amazon Web Services Cloud Buy Side Buy-Side Risk Hedge Fund Asset Manager Management Investment Mutual Fixed Income Credit Rates Derivatives Front Office Front Office JavaScript Finance Research Remote) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a department dedicated to investment risk- creating applications that aggregate the risk of the portfolios across the company. Within this department, there are 14 engineers. You will take 4 in order to deliver new components and functions of the application that could take 12-24 months to build. Your role will be very hands-on but the team and delivery will be your responsibility. You will also take the lead on design, architecture, technical strategy and best practices.
The department follows Agile with elements of TDD. You will be building the product in .NET Core on AWS. .NET Core and cloud experience, whether GCP, Azure or AWS, are mandatory.
This is an environment that has been described as the only corporate environment with a start-up/fintech attitude towards technology. Hours are 9-5.
