Senior Java Engineer - Greenfield - Microservices - London Fintech
I am collaborating with one of the most exciting fintechs around, who continue to do exceptionally well in a competitive market and are rapidly scaling up, leveraging their powerful platform in the B2B space, giving companies access to faster payments and exciting new products.
As part of their ambitious plans they are looking to bring on a skilled Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead with expert tech knowledge to focus on Server Side development across all their systems, developing greenfield products for a ripe market and to be hands on with the development team as a Tech Lead .
Their cloud-native microservices API platform has been widely celebrated, using the power of "neo-tech" to build a fresh platform and generate transactions.
The tech stack here is cutting edge, with a focus on clean, scalable code and best engineering practices. As this is still greenfield there is a chance to really define the direction and roadmap of this platform.
Tech Stack: Java, Microservices, AWS, Kafka, Docker, Gradle, gRPC, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL
What you need to have:
- Expert knowledge of Java
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in AWS or another cloud platform
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and a DevOps mindset when considering architecture
- Some experience as a tech lead, leading projects or team management would be a bonus
