Remote/Hybrid Based - Upto £750prd (via Umbrella) - Senior Java Engineer
Our client is currently looking to hire 2 Lead/Senior Java Developers to help manage, support, develop a large transformation programme across the business. This is a brand new project, therefore it requires for individuals to be able to build systems from scratch (help design, strategies, support, test and rollout). As a Lead/Senior Java Developer you will understand the impact on other areas of the business and systems with the changes that are required.
Using the latest technology, our clients engineers are empowered to define our technology roadmap and take responsibility for delivery of an end-to-end services that affect our customers directly and ultimately their reputation and brand.
Essential Skills:
- Strong focus on Java Technology (Java version 11, version 8 minimum)
- Understanding of Microservices
- Understanding of Continuous Integration
- Experience of Kafka and Confluent
- Strong experience with SpringBoot framework
- Strong understanding of SQL and preferably NoSQL databases
- Experience in Cloud development and Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- AWS Lambda
- Strong knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP and RPC protocol as well as REST architectural style.
- Can be proactive, self-organised and a self-starter who would be willing to take on a lead role and mentor others. Be able to work in a very fast pace changing environment.
Must be able to commute to their offices in Holborn, London once a fortnight/month meetings (Full Remote working)
