Reed Professional Services are looking for a Java Developer to join a team who are transforming how our client engages with its audience. Our client's aim is to become more data driven in how it supports the delivery of its services.
This role requires an experienced Java Developer who will join a team supporting the decommissioning of a Legacy system running on Azure, and the creation of its replacement to run on AWS. This project is in the final phase of development and the client is looking to release the system in the first quarter of 2022. Further development tasks will continue into quarter 2 to bring parity in the new system.
Experience: -
Excellent experience as a Java developer
Significant experience of developing API and Systems
AWS experience and associated technologies
Proven experience working within agile environments following TDD and BDD principles
Must be comfortable performing Code reviews and working in a co-design environment where necessary
Strong communication skills
Duration: 6 months contract. This role will be fully remote; however, the team are usually based in White City, London and therefore you should ensure this is a commutable location before applying.
