Enterprise Architect TOGAF Archimate OpenCA iTEC Flight & Flow NATS Brussels Remote Working Belgium
Location: Belgium based or ability to travel to Belgium on a regular basis upon customer's demand
Duration: 6 months project (+ extension)
Rate: 585€/day
In the role of Enterprise IT Architect (ATM) - Flight & Flow, you will:
- Design and support the implementation of the new Flight and Flow functional system for Routing, Capacity Planning and Network Management
- Support the development and business teams in selecting and designing the right solution to meet the business objectives - Airspace Management domain
- Support and guide the operations teams in understanding the systems architecture, high-level functionalities, and system components
- Support the testing team in identification of the right testing approach for individual system components
- Support Environment Management team in setup of the right target platforms for the systems in scope
- Provide expertise on the overall functional flight & flow systems, engineering best practices, standards, architectural approaches, and complex technical resolutions
- Set up and maintain contacts with business units to understand business activities, drivers, and requirements; consider solution strategies and alternatives for possible implementation, and establish appropriate information system programs
- Provide architectural leadership in the resolution of inter-program and inter-project issues and advice management, business areas, etc.
- Develop and coordinate architecture roadmaps and plans
- Continuously research and assess new analysis approaches for potential use, and provide recommendations and subject matter expertise regarding trends, technology, tools and services
- Check compliance within the enterprise architecture and reinforce adherence to standards, policies, procedures, etc.
- Perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.
Must have skills (demonstrable experience required):
- Ability to manage stakeholders at a CXO level.
- Emotional Intelligence required to deal with people and influence them
- Ability to manage lead, manage and direct a team of multi-disciplinary architects.
- Demonstrable ability to distil complex idea into simple concepts which can presented and conveyed convincingly
Must have required qualifications:
- Hands on enterprise management experience including use of standard tools (Enterprise Architect credentials such as TOGAF, Open CA, ArchiMate, etc. would be advantage)
- Air traffic domain experience (Flight, Flow, Routing, Capacity planning, Airspace Management)
- Experience in the Flight & Flow operational systems such as iTEC (interoperability Through European Collaboration) or equivalent products (Thales, Leonardo)
- Working experience for the following organizations would be considered an advantage: DFS, ENAIRE, NATS or PANSA (or other member of iTEC Alliance)
- Knowledge and hands on experience in the following technologies: RDBMS, NoSQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenShift would be considered and advantage
