Data Migration Consultant - Financial Systems, Agile, Waterfall, MDM, ETL, Oracle, SQL, SAP
Xpertise Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a large organisation currently in the process of a Digital Transformation Programme.
As part of the programme, they have identified the need for a Data Migration Consultant to work on/lead a programme of financial data transition.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an architectural/technical lead governing and implementing complex data migration solutions
- Extensive experience in data migration including data extraction, profiling, cleansing and transformation
- Experience of the delivery of a quality solution including documentation, code, unit tests and cut-over planning to a high standard
- Understanding and applying the business requirements to the given solution
- Experience of financial systems and SAP
- Experience in end to end and delta data data migrations throughout the test and go live phases
- Experience of pre-load and post-load data validation, audit, reconciliation and exception reporting
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation including GDPR, ISO27000 and ISO27001 and specifically data security best practices
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Practical Experience in at least 5 or more of the following:
- Master Data Management
- Customer Data Migration Design and Scripting
- Datamodelling
- Extract Transform & Load (ETL)
- Data Governance
- SQL, PL/SQL
- XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD
- SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Triggers
- Database design & management (Oracle, Ingres, SQL Server)
The role is fully remote with occasional travel to Yorkshire.
The role is Inside IR35.
