Our client are currently recruiting for a Python Developer on a 6 month contract within central government.
Responsibilities
- Back End development (Python, MySQL)
- REST API development
- Building new services and features
- Extending functionality of existing systems
- Participating in entirely remote project teams
- Participating in projects to re-engineer existing systems with new technology, including learning new skills (eg React)
- Python Developer - requirements
- Strong Python skills
- Experience of REST API development
- Relational database knowledge (ideally MySQL)
- Knowledge of Web Services
- Self-starter and fluent English speaker able to work fully remotely
- Passion for clean, well-organised and documented code
- Git version control experience preferred
