Our client, a leading consultancy, is currently looking for a Technical Product Owner to work on a large digital transformation programme for a global consultancy.
Managing a team of 9 (data engineers, architects, scientists, analysts) the suitable candidate will partner with a range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues, update on progress and achieve benefits. Work closely with the Senior Product Owner to own the creation of the product backlog and roadmap (incl. JIRA board) while providing technical inputs including and not limited to Technical story creation for backlog. Responsible for the end to end delivery of a BI/Analytics product with C and MD level exposure. Working with external teams to identify data sources and understand data models.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience related to the creation and or delivery of BI/Analytics products, estimation/planning and Data Analysis/Analytics in a consultancy environment, using strong data analysis skills to build insight into commercial performance. Demonstrable experience in delivering technical projects whilst working with commercial stakeholders. Datamodelling (DW modelling techniques) and Data Engineering, preferably on GCP using not UI based ETL/ELT technologies and experience developing data visualisation products (Qlik, Tableau, Streamlet). Python programming experience would also be desirable.
