Description

Adecco Public Sector is supporting one of its key clients who are looking to bring on a number of Software Developer for an initial 6 month contract with very likely extensions. The role will work within the organisations Application Development Team supporting BAU as well as some key projects. The role will offer mainly remote working with adhoc site visits in Leicester. The team's core developments are implemented using based Microsoft based technologies with the main focus being on delivering web-based systems for their clients
Day to day tasks

* Build web-based customer facing systems

* Debugging complex problems

* Design and implement a web-based system from the ground up

Skills/qualifications for this post

* The applicant will have at least 3 years' experience developing .NET based web systems and should be familiar with working in the Azure Cloud.

* Significant experience in the following;

.NET Web Development

Automated deployment (CI/CD)

Microsoft SQL Server

Azure Cloud based Technologies

* Degree in Computing Science or equivalent knowledge and experience gained through working at a similar level in specialist area

Key technical skills

* C#

* MVC/WEB API

* NET Core

* Responsive Web Design

* HTML5/CSS

* Angular

* Microsoft SQL Server database technology

* XUnit Testing Framework

* Microsoft Azure

* Azure Dev Ops

* AGILE working practices

* Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide detailed and technical advice to both specialists and non-technical staff and customers.

* Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills.

Please note that this role falls inside IR35 so will suit someone who is happy to work via an Umbrella Company.
