Description
I am currently recruiting for a Head of Engineering for an initial 6 month contract. The role is working for a growing consultancy and the role is a key position on one of their client engagements. You will get the opportunity to lead on a cutting edge programme, managing suppliers and senior internal stakeholders. The role would suit someone who has a software/cloud engineering consultancy background or someone who has been a lead or manager for an organisation where you have built a team and driven adoption of new ways of working.
Location: Remote with trips to Leeds and London so you must be flexible to travel
Rate: £700 - £750 per day (Outside IR35)
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience in a software engineering lead/manager role
- Experience of managing multiple suppliers on a complex programme with a track record of ensuring consistency of approach and delivery standards.
- A broad technology background would be beneficial but this will include experience of cloud platforms and dev ops practices
- Exceptional stakeholder management/influencing skills
