Lead Frontend Developer - Freelance - Remote
Robson Bale are looking for an Lead Frontend Developer to come on board for an initial 6 month contract, fully remote
6 month contract, market rate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Multiple years of working experience working with Front End web development
- Experience in working in AEM (or other CMS) integration with Frontend and develop a scalable and maintainable website from scratch
- Expert knowledge and experience of React, JavaScript, jquery and ES6; HTML5/CSS3, DOM structure, storybook, Semantics with the expertise to fuse these with modern web development practices
- Experience in creating a UI component design system (or pattern library) with collections of reusable elements.
- Highly proficient with performant, modern CSS and CSS pre-processors such as Less/Sass, styled-components experience
- Preferable experience with web application frameworks
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable Modules and Components
- Good knowledge of Frontend build tools such as Gulp, Webpack or Rollup.js,
- Good knowledge of UI testing tools and approaches
- Need to have experience in task estimation along with risk identification
- Deep understanding of Web Performance and Web Accessibility
- Knowledge of industry standard software best practices, development life cycle processes and Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Experience in working in large CMS project with multiple scrum teams
- Hands-on experience for web Front End development using Front End build tools and excellent handle on source code management tools such as GIT, BitBucket, etc.
