Description
Informatica Lead Developer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires a experienced Informatica Lead Developer with breadth and depth knowledge of informatica to be based in their client's office in Langley, Slough Berkshire.
This role will have day to day client interactions and the position will be based out of Client Office (at the moment, it will be 2 to 3 days of office working).
This is a 1-Year+ temporary contract to start 16th May 2022
Day Rate: Competitive Market Rate

- Handle and drive communication with various stakeholders eg, Network, Storage team, development teams
- Requires Onsite - Offshore coordination
Key Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- Informatica 10.x, Oracle, DB2, Shell and Perl Scripting
- Business Intelligence tools like Pentaho
- Must have experience in Industry verticals like Travel and Finance
- Business Discovery, Data Discovery & Analysis, Data Modeling, ETL Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Troubleshooting in the field of Data warehousing
- Strong Data warehousing experience specializing in RDBMS, ETL Concepts, Strategy, Design & Architecting, Informatica Administration and Development
- Expert in the ETL Tool Informatica which includes components like PowerCenter, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager, Repository Server Administration Console,.
- Extensive experience in working with various PowerCenter Transformations using Designer Tool.
- Must have handled various Data Sources like DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel including MF Cobol EBCDIC Files, Flat Files and XML Files
- Experience in Oracle/Informatica performance tuning techniques
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL. Expert in creation of stored procedures and custom SQL to define ETL processes
- Software Installation and configurations and applying patches is part of the job responsibilities
- Having worked with Cognos Business Intelligence components is a plus
- Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations for the system
