IAM Solution Architect

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires an IAM SSO Federation Solution Architect to design and engineer SSO/Federation solution to the customers within the Banking domain, to be based in their client's office in London.

You may be able to work some days remotely.

This is a 12-month temporary contract (6-month rolling) to start on 01st June 2022.

Day rate - Competitive Market Rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • To design and engineer SSO/Federation solution to the customers of the bank. Assess in-built client IAM products against competition. Solution existing product with necessary customizations to meet Regulatory requirements and Bank policies.
  • Set up product vision, build product roadmaps and long-term strategies of the product.
  • Define IAM product specifications, own its end-to-end life cycle including design, development, supporting implementation and provide exemplary customer support (answering to queries/feedback)
  • Strive for product growth, innovation, and feature enhancements.
  • Determine internal customer needs and desires. Understand the pulse of internal customer asks. Communicate/sell the product experience to internal customers
  • Should plan & conduct meetings, presentations, and workshops.

Key Requirements

  • Overall 15+ years of experience which span one or more IT disciplines like: Engineering, Development, Consultancy (technical and process)
  • Broad knowledge on IAM protocols (application and network level) including IDP, Authentication products and Protocols like Web Access Management, SAML, OAuth, Web App Firewalls, proxies, Internet Technologies. OWASP Top 10.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps cultures and continuous integration products and methodologies.
  • Information security certification is highly desired: CISSP, CISA, CSSLP, CCNE, CCSE, CCNA.
  • Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related subject; alternatively, an equivalent education in one of these topics
  • Broad knowledge of information security concepts with a deep focus on IAM discipline.
  • Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have a consistent track record of min. 5 years of work experience in IT within the financial industry and 3 years in a similar role
  • You bring working knowledge & experience in System Engineering with Linux (Redhat preferred) with a security oriented mindset and cover additionally at least one of the following area:
  • Internet Facing Application components (Application Firewalls, Reverse/Forward Proxies, Single-Sign On and Federation protocols)
  • Web Security technologies experience
  • Scripting (Shell, Perl or Python), coding in Java or other language is helpful
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling
  • Understanding of Agile delivery, Sprint planning and delivery
  • Program/project management skills.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent education in one of these topics
  • You have the ability to find sustainable IT solutions even with a high work load due incident or project deadlines
  • You are proficient in English (oral + written), German as an additional asset
  • SAFe PO certification
