Role: Technical Writer - JR001601
Certes Vacancy Reference: 80330
Role Location: Hybrid/Remote (Southampton)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Day Rate: £500
Status: Inside IR35

Technical Writer required to join our team. The system or product is currently being configured and deployed for an international customer and market, requiring extensive technical documentation in the form of user guides, manuals and training materials.

Detailed services to be provided (specifically, the deliverables and if appropriate, specification):
*Creation of specialist documentation required to support delivery of a training programme for users of the system
*Creation of the specialist documentation required to enable a positive user experience of the land information system, tailored to a range of audiences (eg security testers, caseworkers, citizens)
*A series of interviews with Product Managers, Land Registration subject matter experts, Solution Architects, Engineers and the wider technical development team
*Ensures consistency in style, tone and language when describing technical concepts, products and services
*Using available tools, tracks and manages how documentation (in documents, weblinks etc.) is being used and manages the pipeline of new 'information' requests or amendments

Experience:
*Demonstrable experience as a Technical Writer, writing for technical and non-technical audiences (eg software developers)
*Strong working knowledge and experience of documenting APIs
*Experience working with international customers (desirable)
*Experience of land registration (desirable)

Operating Environment
Works with all members of the core programme team and business colleagues from within the wider programme structure. Communicates with international customers, suppliers and colleagues across different time zones.

Azure, Java, JavaScript, Cloud technologies, microservices frameworks
