Developer - 6 months - Outside IR35
Day Rate - Up to £456
Harvey Nash's public sector client are currently looking to recruit a Developer to join their team based remotely for an initial 6 month period. An experienced developer is required to accelerate the organisations move away from our Legacy finance systems.
The focus of the work will be the collaborative development of new serverless micro[1]services using AWS Lambda functions and Typescript/JavaScript. However, the Supporting domain also supports several Legacy systems, hence a working knowledge of Shell Scripting languages, such as Bash, and Oracle databases, would be a plus.
Main Duties:
Development and delivery of:
- Development and support of a Prepayment Service
- Development and support of a BACS Replacement
Essential Skills:
Significant commercial experience in the following technology:
- AWS including:
- CDK
- Serverless (Lambda)
- S3
- API Gateway
- Cloud Formation
- Aurora/Postgres
- TypeScript
- Node JS
- Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React
Desirable Skills:
- Scripting languages, such as Bash
- Oracle databases
- Java and/or Python
- MongoDB
- ElasticSearch
- Systemd
