Currently seeking a IFS Technical Architect for a global Consultancy working with a top Healthcare customer. The role can be available remotely with frequent travel to customer site for meetings.
The successful applicant will provide expert level Solution Architecture & Enterprise Architecture knowledge and counsel and make ongoing recommendations of Architecture standards and system configurations. Analysing the current Application architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement. Enabling an innovative approach to system architecture standards which greatly increase the flexibility, scalability, and reliability of IT services at a lower cost. Driving the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint. Partnering with other architects and engineering teams to define, design and implement components of the platform and application architecture and provide hands-on help in supporting the App Dev team with their project needs. Lead and support the needs of strategic roadmap and Blueprint activity. Responsible for assisting with the overall system design and architecture and creating roadmap documents, architectural documents, process documents, standards documents and governance documents.
Applicants should have around 10+ years of development and implementation experience in 5 cycles, IFS Version 10 and above, with exposure to IFS Connect. Exposure to Customization and integration (Inbound and Outbound) is must. Knowledge of PL/SQL & .NET. would also be required as well as a good understanding of Java and Oracle. Should be hands on for various types of Data Migration methods, ETL processes. IFS Certified consultants preferred & Basic functional knowledge is preferred.
