We have an exciting Job opportunity for Technical Architect (Web and AEM)
Location: Coventry, UK
Job type: Contract
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Defining the architecture of the solution, interacting with the business stakeholder
- Write and refine technical specifications, provide effort estimations for requirements
- Leading the development team (mostly distributed among various locations), reviewing code, coaching and guidance
- Support developers with environment IDE setup, Maven, and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of AEM, Java, especially in web projects
- Knowledge of Patterns and Good Practices to design and develop quality and clean code
- Experience developing RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript including frameworks like Angular or React
- Experience with testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional, security, DAC and performance
- Ability to extend existing products and leverage their APIs to create a customised web experience
- Familiarity with build tools, including Maven
- Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git
- Familiarity with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- A proactive mind-set, ability to share your ideas and bring them to life
Required Skills:
- Understanding of AEM/Java Back End along with familiarity of Front End technologies like React/Angular, Slightly, JSP etc.
- Able to design and estimate features, formulate MVP requirements.
- Understanding of SAFe Agile practices, especially around, feature refinements, resourcing, sprint ceremonies, XTF's etc.
- Experience on regulatory side of things to work backwards in terms of solution delivery from a deadline.
- Experience in understanding various security protocols, SSL certificate generation/renewal and oAuth.
- Experience with leading Non Functional Testing requirements like Load/Soak/OAT/Pen Testing and identifying these earlier in the feature refinement.
- Assist with sprint deliverables with deployment/cutover/implementation planning and delivery.
- Supporting critical business applications like AEM website, Karaf Middleware, CMP interfaces etc which then interface with various other applications within STW technology stack.
