A UK based consultancy is looking to recruit 2x Java Developers to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working in Java development. This is a senior position so you will need to be able to take ownership of projects
  • A full understanding of different frameworks, tools and other relevant technologies
  • Scrum - Experience in an Agile Scrum based environment is essential
  • Containerization is essential, so the candidate should be familiar with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Mastering of web and cloud technologies
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience using some or all of the following
      • Red Hat Openshift 3.11 and 4.x (ROSA)
      • Java J2EE/cloud-native apps
      • Microservices/SOA
      • AWS
      • Node JS/React
      • Python
      • Azure DevOps
      • Jenkins
      • RH JBoss Active MQ
      • Oracle
      • Postgres
  • Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle
