PnL User Production Support Analyst - Investment Banking
This role is to provide end to end functional support for multiple global PnL reporting/sign off applications.
Essential:
- Knowledge of risk management systems, PnL applications/reporting systems + PnL validation/reconciliation processing within an Investment bank.
- Experience of working closely with Traders, Product Controllers, Middle Office and various IT teams (ie Systems such as Deal Capture, Pricing/PnL, Risk and Market Data] to resolve issues.
- Comfortable in using Microsoft Excel to be able to use the formulas created by Quants/analytics libraries to replicate Pricing/PnL/Risk measures.
- Proven L2 experience in the functional support such as PnL validation/reconciliation and experience of working on Risk/PnL overnight batches such feed/data loading/monitoring and working with various IT team to make sure the PnL data is delivered in a timely manner to the business.
- Ability to manage priorities and own' incidents and problems (inception to completion + experience of root cause analysis).
- Excellent communication skills is a must.
- Team player and comfortable working with global team (London, Lisbon, Paris, Singapore, India, New York).
- Familiarity of ITIL processes and methods (incident/change/problem).
- In-depth knowledge/experience of SQL
- Knowledge/experience of with XML files.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux
Desirable:
- Understanding of Scripting languages (python/PowerShell)
- Experience of application support in Front Office pricing/risk management applications within the Investment Banking environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products, JIRA, SVN
