My client is looking for an experienced contract Scala Developer to join their team within an investment bank on a 6 month basis. We are looking for a core Scala Developer to support the development and evolution of a cutting-edge and complex critical distributed systems within their big data mesh eco-system. You will be working in an international team joining a high-performance agile team.
Key skills:
- In depth core Scala development
- Developing complex distributed Scala-based applications (core Scala)
- Data structures and algorithms
- SBT build framework
- Automated testing using the ScalaTest framework
- Developing on Azure Cloud
- CI/CD on Azure using GitLab repository (preferred)
- SQL databases
- Financial Services - nice to have
