POSTGRESQL DATABASE DEVELOPER (AWS AURORA EXPERT)

OVERVIEW:
- Our client is a global data and tech consultancy. The core management team is based in London, however our client is a remote-only company that enables it to draw upon a hugely diverse international talent pool.
- They are looking for a Senior Database Developer (AWS Aurora Expert), to join an active consulting team. The project is a large-scale database migration for an international client in the petrochemical industry.
- The Database Developer will be required to provide specialist expertise on an ongoing migration from MS SQL server to AWS Aurora cloud database.
KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES:
Key tasks will include:
- Performance optimization
- Database Scripting
- Other specialised technical tasks
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- PostgreSQL (expert level - must have)
- Coding Stored Procedures (Database/Aurora Postgre)
- Coding of Test Scripts
- Creating Concepts (eg. ER-Model)
- Develop and support automated tests
- AWS (preferred)
- AWS Aurora (preferred)
