Javascript, HTML CSS (Java Backend) Quant Developer - Investment Bank
Extensive experience using JavaScript in Angular or React and WebSocket experience required to work on quant libraries for top investment bank.
Skills required:-
- Demonstrable development experience with both Front End web interfaces and Back End server applications in Java.
- A working knowledge with industry standard third-party web libraries, and informed opinions about the benefits/limitations of each.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and web service architectural design
- At minimum, the developer will be expected to be proficient in: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java (11 & upwards)
- Good academics a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of the framework's web interface components, and integration of these into our continuous integration testing environment.
- Execution of an overhaul to modernise the existing web technology stack.
- Provide technical advice and oversight regarding web technologies and take a lead role in steering the evolution of the user interaction with the Quartz (quant) framework.
- Interaction with client teams to evaluate business requirements and estimate costs/timeframes for deliverables.
