Description
Core Java Developer with strong Microservices and API experience along with GCP is required for a 6-month initial contract to work on a project at a leading Financial Services organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Core Java alongside Spring Boot and will also have experience working in a Microservices environment. You will have cloud experience
This role is Remote, you must however be based in the UK.
INSIDE IR35
Experience:
- Good working knowledge of Java 8 or 11, Spring Boot and SQL database technologies.
- GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Proficiency in micro-services concepts, microservices principles and spring modules concepts hands-on micro-services
- Event-driven MS integrated with Kafka is a plus
- Hands-on experience in Design Patterns
- Familiar with Lambdas, stream APIs Java memory management and multi-threading aspects Swagger/Open API Spec
- Good problem investigation and technical debugging skills.
- Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes experience.
- Experience of working with agile teams and practices
- Banking would be preferred
